Pro-G unveils major facelift

London, England, March 30 2006: Pro-G Media is proud to announce the re-launch of Pro-G (www.pro-g.co.uk), one of the UK’s fastest growing online video games publications. The new site features a fresh new look, an enhanced brand, and an array of new community features and additional content. Pro-G also opens up a range of new marketing opportunities for advertisers, representing a step forward in its commercial status.

To celebrate the re-launch, all readers who register on the site will automatically be entered into a prize draw of over £2000 worth of video games. For more information visit www.pro-g.co.uk/launch.

With a strong focus on community, the new site offers the ability to comment on all articles in conjunction with a brand new forum, featuring a flash games arcade and a classifieds section. Pro-G also introduces a Friday morning newsletter, containing a round-up of the week’s biggest top stories as well as the latest articles, forum posts, cheats, and screenshots.

The news section has been redesigned to provide a more consistent user experience, allowing readers to search and filter articles by type. Also, to ensure the continued quality and reliability of Pro-G’s news, any article containing speculative information is clearly separated from standard headlines and marked as a rumour.

One of the biggest additions to the site is a large cheats database, with over 9,000 hints, guides, maps, mods, and savegames now available, continually updated throughout each week by CheatHappens.com, Pro-G’s new content partner.

For advertisers, Pro-G offers exclusive front page and newsletter sponsorship with standard IAB graphical units as well as optional custom locations and sizes. Advertising has been seamlessly integrated within the new design at the same time as increasing the volume of content accessible on all pages. Run-of-site campaigns also represent value for money, with a range of delivery options available.

Developed using the latest technologies, Pro-G’s new site will enable the company to put into motion the innovative new services it plans to launch in the coming months. The company has also secured a far-reaching content agreement with a major UK ISP to be announced in the next few days, with 2006 to see a number of key appointments made to continue the rapid growth of the company.

"The whole Pro-G team has worked very hard on the re-launch over the past six months, so it’s fantastic to see the new site up and running," said Tom Orry, Pro-G’s Content Director. "We hope new and current readers alike will enjoy the additional features and content we’ve added, and take part in Pro-G’s growing community".

Adam McCann, Pro-G’s Director of Operations added, "2006 will be a very big year for the company, and we very much look forward to expanding our range of media services for both businesses and consumers".
